In Counter-Strike, if you are moving, your bullets will not go where your crosshair is. You must be completely stationary for your first bullet to be accurate. However, just letting go of the movement key (W, A, S, or D) causes your character to "slide" to a stop, meaning you remain inaccurate for a fraction of a second.
The Fix: Counter-Strafing To stop instantly, you must tap the opposite movement key.
If you are strafing left holding [A].
To stop and shoot, you release [A] and instantly tap [D].
This instantly zeros out your velocity, allowing you to fire an perfectly accurate shot mid-duel.
Our engine analyzes your sub-tick movement inputs to grade the crispness of your counter-strafing in live matches.
